City National E-Deposit
Simplify the process of making check deposits into your business accounts using City National E-Deposit service.
What is City National E-Deposit?
Using a specialized scanner and your PC, you scan checks and electronically send check images to City National for deposit. This service reduces or replaces your need to deliver deposits via courier or in person at a banking office, and potentially offers you additional time and cost savings. City National E-Deposit service allows you to consolidate your bank accounts into City National while improving your efficiency and cash flow.

How it Works
- Scan
Specialized scanners capture the front and back of each check, including the MICR line information and dollar amounts.
- Review
Checks are totalled and an “electronic deposit ticket amount” prepared for your review and approval.
- Transmit
Electronically send check images to City National – multiple accounts and multiple deposits.

- Macintosh® computers are not supported
- Firefox® is not supported at this time
Product Security Features
- Two-step log-on (User ID/Password)
- Encrypted data for secure transmission
- System disables user after specified number of unsuccessful log-on attempts
- Controlled “aging” of passwords which expire at specified intervals
- Notification of deposits by email
- Ability to modify account description
Internet Security
- Ensure Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware/Adware software resides on all your computers
- Install a firewall and only allow necessary incoming/outgoing connections
- Maintain your operating system (i.e.,Windows) and update browsers
- Do not open attachments or click on links contained in e-mail from unfamiliar sources
- Do not download freeware or shareware from an unfamiliar source
